Sweet as Sugar

Sweet as Sugar. This pretty little brindle girl is a new arrival from Florida. Born in the August of 2005, Sweet as Sugar is a gorgeous girl who is ready for a home to call her own. She does great with other hounds but we have not yet tested her with cats. You will melt when she looks into your eyes...

Hope

ADOPTED!

Hope (racing name: Sunshine Smiles) is a stunning fawn female born in November of 2002. Hope was in a home for 2.5 years until her owner became too ill to properly care for her. Hope was in the same home as lavish Dream. Hope is a quiet, relaxed hound who enjoys going for walks and rides in the car. Hope would do best in a home without children and/or and cats/small dogs but gets along GREAT with other larger breed dogs (especially greyhounds). Hope is hopeful her world, which has just been turned upside down, rights itself and she can enjoy the rest of her life with her forever family.

P.T.

Meet P.T. This guy is something else. PT is a beautiful, mellow, black brindle male who spent most of his career in Florida. He is ready to race right into your home and heart! PT is great with other animals including cats. He was born in February of 2004. He loves to go for walks and is awesome on the lead. He is figuring out the house rules in his foster home and will make a nice addition to just about any home. Perhaps yours?

Melman

ADOPTED!

Melman is a handsome, reserved, mature guy who will celebrate his 5th birthday this summer. He has the most soulful eyes and a great face! Mel gets along well with everyone. He especially loves to be around humans. Mel raced in Florida and recently made his way to NY where he is hoping to find his forever family. He will fit into just about any home...maybe yours?!

Triple Crown

ADOPTED!

Triple Crown is a beautiful brindle male born January 2006. He has the most soulful, expressive eyes. Although still quite young, TC happens to be quite a mellow guy. He is doing great in foster care and gets along well with all the resident greyhounds. TC enjoyed his first meet-n-greet recently and calmly approached total strangers for some nice attention. TC gets along well with cats and dogs but NO squirrels for this guy! If you look into his beautiful face all you will want to do is kiss him!

Flo

ADOPTED!

Steady Flo is a very pretty fawn female born in December of 2000. Flo was in a home for over 4 years but was recently returned due to health issues in the family. Flo is playful, LOVES belly rubs and gets along with dogs, cats, kids, adults, etc. She is awesome. Flo has beautiful gold eyes, she looks right into your heart. Flo would love to find her forever home. She also wants people to know that 7 is NOT old, just seasoned like a good wine.

Jar Head

Jar Head is a 3 year old, gorgeous, white w/brindle male born in May of 2005. He is a playful, spunky guy still learning some manners. He gets along with everyone and everything including cats and small animals. Jar Head LOVES everyone, loves to kiss and be in the middle of everything. He would be great for the active family that can appreciate his innocent spirit and work with him on some better manners. He is basically a "diamond in the rough" and the family that adopts this guy will be one lucky family!

Pretty in Pink

Pretty in Pink is like a movie star as her name implies. She certainly is pretty! Pinky is a gorgeous, friendly, 3 year old female just off the track. She has a best friend...Sweet as Sugar, they love to be together (in fact, they are in the same foster home!). Pinky has not been tested with cats yet but gets along nicely with the other greyhounds in the house. She loves her crate and can often be found hanging out in her crate even when the door is left open. Check her out, you won't be sorry.

Intent on Time

Intent On Time is a laid back, handsome brindle boy recently retired from Wheeling Downs. On Time was born in October of 2004. He was a champion racer until he broke his leg. He is still in a cast but things are healing quite nicely. On Time gets along well with others including cats. He is a relaxed kind of guy and will do well in just about any home.

Around the Clock

Around the Clock is a spunky, 2.5 year old brindle female hoping to find a family ready to join her on a big adventure...her life! She is terrific. She is all adolescent, loves to give kisses and prefers to be in the middle of whatever is going on. She is the life of the party for sure. She has a zest for life that only a 2 year old can have! She will be a blast and the family that adopts her will be very lucky!
